Love This Memory by Tania Ridgwell

Hi there!

Just popping in today to share the last of my DT projects for April.  I have created a layout.

"Love This Memory"

2 Crafty Chipboard Used:

*Thin Rectangle Stacked Frames
*Aged Film Strip Set
*2023's
*Mini Title Stick Set 5

I used the gorgeous Mintay Mamarazzi Collection to create the base for my layout.
Once I had created my background I set about putting my page together.

I gave the Aged Film Strip Chippies a spray with Kaisercraft Black Mist and once dry I rubbed some Antique Gold Brush Leaf Gold Paint over them.  I painted the largest Rectangle Stacked frame with Antique Gold Brush Leaf Paint and once dry attached it to my photo and added it to the centre of the page.  I added lots of fussy cut elements and flowers along the top and bottom of my photo.  I cut the Aged Film Strip Chippies into pieces and tucked these in amongst the Embellishment clusters.

I finished off my page by adding a Title from the Mini Stick Title Set 5 and the year 2023.
I left both of these raw.

Thats' all from me today, I hope I have inspired you all with my Layout.

Until next time thanks so much for stopping by.

'Sweet Times'
with Lisa Amiet

Hello all!
It's Lisa back today to share some scrappy goodness with you.
I have created a layout of a photo of my children and I.

'Sweet Times'

2Crafty products used:

For this layout, I used one of the 'Mini Decorative Frame Set 6',
that I tucked in to frame a flower from the embellishments.

I also used one of the 'ATC Design Elements'
as a flourish from the heart embellishments.

I also used the 'Frame Ingrid's' to frame my sentiment.
So pretty and delicate.
I have left my chipboard raw as I felt it coordinated
with the vintage nature papers that I have used.

And I also folded the wings up on one of the 'Mollie's Butterfly Set'
and layered it onto its solid piece for some dimension.

To finish, I used one of the locks from the 'Key Set Mini' to add to my page.

I hope that you like what I have created,
I really like the soft delicate nature feel to this page.

Until next time!

Lisa

By Rachael Funnell

Hello everyone & A warm welcome to the 2 Crafty blog today...
Rach with you sharing another bit of 2 Crafty inspro
This feminine layout featuring my gorgeous girl & some fabulous 2 Crafty Chipboard pieces...

2 Crafty Chipboard used:
Fine word set - Months
Pretty birdcage
2019
Her Smile (title)
Sharon Butterfiles

Let's start this Pretty Birdcage (named pefectly I might add)
I have sitting moungst the blues & purples fussy cut out flowers images.
I have simply inked this birdcage with some black..

Next up for the title 'Her Smile' which is such a pefect title for this gorgeous photo of my girl.
I have given 'Her Smile' two coats of gesso and I think  it looks so good sitting over the birdcage.

You may have notice that the Pretty Birdcage does have this super sweet tiny bird in the centre of the cage.
But for this page I wanted to added some butterflies & I have used two of the Sharon Butterfiles
inking both with a lovely pastel purple and placing the smaller butterfly over the bird....

And lastly I have added the date, using the January from Fine word set - Months inking this with black.
and then for the year 2019 inking this navy blue color...

That's it from me today,
Thanks for stopping by and
hopefully I have inpsired you in someway..

"You & Me"
Layout By Di Garling

Well hi there and hello, thanks so much for stopping by.
Di Garling here with you on the blog today with a
SIBLING themed layout to share and the
standout chipboard piece I have used is definitely this NEW
“9” Ampersand” = (&) that sets the scene for my theme.

I painted it with black acrylic paint as I really wanted it to stand out.

2Crafty Chipboard Used….
9” Ampersand = (&)
“You Me & The Sea” - title…I trimmed this title
Lattice Leaves
Triangle Set
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars Set

The next chipboard piece I used was the “You Me & the Sea” title.
For my title I simply cut the “The Sea” part of the title off, to make it
the perfect title for my layout and it also continues with my sibling theme.

I also coloured this piece with black acrylic paint.
It such a super easy way of making over your chipboard.

I then coloured up in aqua, and scattered some of the little stars from the
“ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars” pack around my layout and also three triangle pieces, from
the “Triangle Set”at the right side of my page. They act as arrows to help draw the eye to
the photo. Again I repeated the black colour scheme on these also.

The last chippies I used were some of the little
“Lattice Leaves” which I have poked in underneath
my flower clusters.

All finished.
I hope you liked my layout today.
To see more of my work,

"Our Story" with Amy Voorthuis

Hi lovely creative peeps,
Hope you are enjoying your day! I am always in my happy place while creating for 2Crafty Chipboard and all their lovely chipboard designs I just can't imagine to not use their chipboards on my work as they are so detailed and wonderfully designed.
For this layout I have used some papers by 49 and Market as I was dying to dig in and again they don't disappoint. They are such a great fit together that I started a new page already.

For this layout I have used a picture of my husband & I at a party called "Sensation White" way back {feels like a lifetime ago} enjoy my post....

Our Story:

2Crafty Chipboard used:

You know what's amazing, you can order directly from the
2Crafty website here so you can also play with their amazing chipboard pieces.

This time I haven't treated the chipboard pieces a lot since I didn't want them to be shiny or have a lot of color. The nested cog frame that I used around my photo is the only piece that I wanted to stand out from my work so that one I gessod two times with white gesso & used embossing powder on{blue with a pink shimmer on it}

I have used the large one of the square barbed wire frames and just gessod it with two layers of white gesso and the cut it in pieces to later add them on my nested cog frame after that I used some charcoal black wax what I also did with the rest of my chipboard pieces.

Only on the gears I used a thin layer of gesso and left some parts of them a little more raw. For the bulldog clips I just added a word from the 49 and Market collection that I raised up with some foam tape. To soften my page I added some white spray & matte white wax.

Thank you so much for stopping by I will be back later this month with another project hope to see you back then....

Amazing Day
By Charmane Sharp

Any day in the ocean is an Amazing Day, especially for my son Jett. He loves to
snorkel and film what he finds. I love the VW car as it adds that carefree summer
feel, we all love.

2Crafty Chipboard used...

12x12 Weathered Clock Face Frames
Summer VW
Title- Amazing Day
Diamond Chunk Bits

I love how the Weathered Clock brings all my elements together around
my photo. I chose the middle sized one and opted for Speckled Egg Oxide,
with water splashes to reveal the oxidation finish.

Placing the title on the VW brings the beach vibe together. I used a blending
brush to apply the Oxide to the VW going a little darker on the surfboard.
Then dry brushed the surfboard with Gesso so it popped a little. The same
process was used for the title with some metallic watercolour applied to the
top of the letters for some shine against the other matte finishes and to
highlight the VW details.

Diamond Chunk bits add some texture to the layout. After the Speckled
Egg Oxide was dry I Dry brushed with Gesso for a shabby chic look. I
love how my resin Starfish looks sitting on top of it.

Thank you for taking a look at my layout today. Distress Oxides are great on
2Crafty Chipboard when you want a matte finish.

Until next time...

Togetherness my favourite time - Laura Gilhuly

 Hi everyone!

Laura here today to share my first April project!

2 Crafty products used:

Cartias swirl

12x12 Weathered Clock Face Frames

Togetherness my favourite time

Flourish 2

I trimmed the 12x12 weathered clock face frames so they ended at the side of the page then added texture paste and allowed to dry.  Once dry I painted them a dark brown, dried and dry brushed some white paint to accent the texture I applied earlier

I also applied the texture paste to the Cartia's Swirl and Flourish 2.  I then inked with uncharted marine distress ink and added white paint (which seems like blue because I used distress ink)

I wanted the title to stand out from the other images so I painted it white and layered it above a few die cut images.

Thanks for stopping by
